Substitute Teacher
Wyoming Valley Montessori School in Kingston, Pennsylvania is looking for candidates to fill substitute teacher needs as they arise.
General duties would include:
- Follows planned lessons
- Engages students
- Gives clear instructions
- Maintains discipline and control of the classroom
- Fosters a safe and nurturing learning atmosphere
- Observes and follows school policies
- Promoting our mission by “Inspiring children who will change the world.”
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or any related field and a valid teaching certificate are preferred, as is relevant classroom experience. Candidates must possess a passion for teaching, show strong leadership capabilities and possess outstanding communication and classroom management skills. Applicants need to pass criminal background search and provide all required clearances.
