To honor International Day of Peace, Wyoming Valley Montessori School hosted a ceremony since a core Montessori value is peace education. On this day, the entire school participated in a peace assembly. After a few words about peace, the students sang “Light a Candle for Peace,” recognized how to say peace in different languages, and each student helped assemble a giant cut out peace symbol with balloons that each student signed.
