Seeking Head of School

The Wyoming Valley Montessori School (WVMS), located in Kingston, Pennsylvania, is seeking a motivated visionary with the leadership skills and enthusiasm to inspire our school community to advance our mission.  Our next Head of School will have an advanced degree in education or a related field, a minimum of 3 years experience as an educator, and Montessori certification or a demonstrated commitment to the Montessori philosophy.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to community building are essential.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated administrative experience, financial management skills, dedication to staff development, and effective operational skills.  Preference will be given to individuals with development and fundraising experience and familiarity working with a Board of Trustees.
